Diplome universitaire d’education Yoguique (1st Class)

Rachael holds first class honours in Civil and Construction Engineering and was the 2001 recipient of Engineers Australia’s Digby Leach Award.  She spent ten years leading a diverse range of projects in the engineering, public and third sectors in Australia and England before running away to the circus in Sheffield, England, and completing a University Diploma of Yogic Education at the University of Lille, France.

Seeing teams in every industry do things the way they’d always done them was Rachael’s inspiration for launching Strategic Creativity at Work.  She is passionate about creating workplaces that are more fulfilling for employees and that generate a more positive impact for the world.

Rachael’s work now brings together her interest in physical play with her belief in creating better businesses through empathy, engagement and awareness.  By asking the right questions – of ourselves, the people we’re working with and what we want to achieve – we set the scene for how things will play out.

Rachael co-runs the community project Tea + Art, promotes body awareness through yoga (especially with the chronically ill) at  What My Body Wants.  Proof that she lifted a woman above her head when she ran away to the circus on The engineer who ran away to the circus.
