Rachael delivers facilitation, communications coaching and keynotes with a twist. With first class honours in Civil Engineering and a circus performance qualification from Greentop Circus in Sheffield she skilfully blends structure with play.
Rachael is also the founder of the nationally-recognised social enterprise Yoga for Pain Care Australia and was a TEDx Perth speaker coach from 2011-2015.
Rachael worked for Social Enterprise London, running a £1m program to help emerging social entrepreneurs develop stronger businesses. She was highly engaged with the city’s conversations about social business and spoke at the Westminster Briefings about the role of social enterprise in public service delivery. Prior to that Rachael spent ten years working as a facilitator and project manager in WA’s engineering sector.
Her other qualifications include a University Diploma in Yogic Education from the University of Lille, France, and Cert IV in Small Business Management. Rachael was the 2001 recipient of Engineers Australia’s Digby Leach Award, a finalist in the 2017 Australian Learning Impact Professional Awards and has been invited to speak at events that include TEDx Bunbury, the 2016 International Pain Society Annual Summit and 2011 Engineers Without Borders Conference.
She has run Project Management for Creative Types, Improvisation for Technical People and Creativity Within Constraints in Perth, Sydney, Geraldton and London. At the 2011 Engineers Without Borders Conference, Rachael’s opening handstand received a round of applause and she led more than 100 engineers through improvisation games that helped them think laterally about making a greater social impact through their everyday work.
As TEDx Perth speaker coach Rachael coached two speakers to standing ovations. She works every year with speakers on the Women in Mining WA summit, preparing them to speak to an audience of over 800.
