Rachael delivers facilitation, communications coaching and keynotes with a twist. With first class honours in Civil Engineering and a circus performance qualification from Greentop Circus in Sheffield she skilfully blends structure with play.
Rachael is also the founder of national social enterprise Yoga for Pain Care Australia. Rachael’s innovative approach to pain care earned her a finalist place in the 2017 Australian Learning Impact Professional Awards, and invitations to speak at TEDx Bunbury and 2016 International Pain Society Annual Summit.
As a young engineer, Rachael was the 2001 recipient of Engineers Australia’s Digby Leach Award and AWA Water Prize. At the 2011 Engineers Without Borders Conference, Rachael’s opening handstand received a round of applause and she led more than 100 engineers through games that helped them discover the social impact they can make without leaving their day job.
Her other qualifications include a University Diploma in Yogic Education from the University of Lille, France, and Cert IV in Small Business Management.
Rachael’s work is informed by eight years as a facilitator and project manager in WA’s engineering and public sectors and two years immersed in the UK’s social enterprise scene (including running a £1m business support program for emerging social entrepreneurs).
As TEDx Perth speaker coach Rachael coached two speakers to standing ovations. She works each year with speakers for the now 800+ Women in Mining WA summit, and coaches new grads up to exec level to deliver great conference talks.
